1) Create an Account in Thunderbird (The Mozilla Mailclient). 2) Select the Messages 3) Right Click -> Move to Local Folders -> Trash 4) Copy the file ~/.mozilla-thunderbird/youraccount/mail/local folders/Trash. Its an mbox file with your messages 5) Empty the Trash folder in Thuderbird
